Worth buying it?
Just wanted to ask if it's worth buying it

What is the story about? (No spoilers please)
What is the gameplay like?
Is it better than TLoH: Trails of Cold Steel? (Cause they're both made from Nihon Falcom)
How long would it take to beat it in hard mode?
How many waifus are there?

Story - episodic anime type tale of student MC learning a mystical underground (with several factions) that deal with 'eclipses', pocket dimenions full of monster 'greeds' that threaten people. As the tale unfolds, additional characters join the group and things escalating. A lot.

Gameplay - Take the Thors/town bits of Trails of Cold Steel (character events, side stories, etc) and replace the field/combat with the dungeon bits of Zwei 2 (you get ranked on the dungeons and can replay them as much as you like). The actual gameplay is a bit like Ys where you swap between party members based on the enemy you are fighting to exploit weaknesses.

This is a lower budget/quality affair then the Legend of Heroes. It's very similar in style though and have the same sort of fleshed out side characters and feel. The translation/localisation though isn't that great - I feel it started OK but got noticeably worse from the half-way point. It never got to Ys 8 bad though.

How long on hard... Not sure. Took me ~80 hours to do a full first playthrough on Normal (I enjoy and take my time with the reading and adventuring) but some people supposedly finished it in 20-30 hours on Hard (I have no idea how). The fights generally aren't that difficult if you are good at action games. They are quite simple but have a nice flow.

Waifus... None. Well, there are various cute girl types but there no actual romance as such. Everyone is more "friendship is power". This is of course incorrect because every Trails fan knows that Cuteness is Power. Or Justice. Or something.

Is it worth buying? I bought it during the release week discount. I feel it was worth what I paid (~£40). The non-discounted RRP does seem expensive to me but I feel it's totally worth £30-£40. Would stress though it really isn't the same sort of game as Cold Steel being an arcade action thing instead.
