Resetting controls shouldn't require a working control layout.

Yeah, partly my fault, but while poking the menus I inadvertently set a control config that was simply unusable. Unfortunately, the only proper reset controls option I found (via these forums) required that you actually get two or three menus deep, which I couldn't do. So then it was down to digging around to find the actual config file and deleting that. If nothing else, the reset controls option should be accessible from any menu, especially the main menu since a big reason why someone would be resetting the controls would be that the current config is entirely broken.

Could you please tell where the config file can be found? Messed up control to, on the steamdeck. no way to play it there now. Uninstalling doesn't help

I think I found that it doesn't use the compatadata folder for anything, so try /home/deck/.steam/steam/userdata/[userid]/586880/remote
The [userid] will be a string of digits that identifies your account. It'll likely be the only folder in there anyway. Note that since the game does support cloud saves, you may need to go offline or disable cloud saves in order to delete the file properly.
