Beating Baron Brixius
Any tips on how to do this? I've got Lightning-Fire build, and I really don't know how to best do it, I don't even know if I should focus the Baron or his wife first.

Note: i'm on mobile so no save file magic is possible.

Lightning-Fire is very bad combo strain and i would recommend you to play Frost-Fire, Frost-Lightning or Frost-Shadow. Frost strain contain many stun skill, which make you gain advantage the whole game.

Frost-Fire: Stun lock combo 1 unit but poor damage output. Very useful against boss that has no stun resist like: Baron, Vendara, Carbon and Carbon True Form

Frost-Lightning: Maximize your speed build. I recommend to use this with ice wall combo build

Frost-Shadow: Best for the ice wall combo build since shadow bolt ignore any defenses buff

For the Baron strategy i would focus the baroness first since she's a healer and will boost baron power everyturn she live. Her black mirror reflect is very tricky, so make sure you your ally don't do too much dmg and you have enough healer for it. Remember that baron silence bolt will seal any of your move for 50 turns but not your main attack like quick attack or shadow bolt, so use it when you think baron gonna have his turn or one of your important skill will be seal.

I would recommend your party looks like this:

Frost-Fire: Kara, Herregods or Zakk, Herregods

Frost-Lightning: Kara, Herregods

Frost-Shadow: Kara, Herregods or Zakk, Herregods

In my opinion veradux heal is pretty useless compare to herregods and has only 1 usefull attack like lightning bolt. Kara has high dmg skill that ignore any defense and EMP bomb that will deplete any focus and give the team extra turn, so make sure she has enough hp to survive reflection from black mirror. Zakk is there if you only want to optimize your stun combo, but note that you will have lesser damage output against the baron.

Thanks a lot, actually quite helpful. Is it possible to change the strain of my Sonny? or would I need to start again to get him built properly?

Once you choosed your strain there is no return, so think carefully before you select it. You have to restart the whole story again, if you want to play on different strains combo.

i forgot to mention that every frost combo build need to be on maximize speed. Make sure you are fastest in speed as much as possible, because the combos won't work if the enemies are faster than you.

I finally beat Brixius with Lightning/Shadow (so without using the permastun cheese from the Frost strain), I think Fire/Lightning can do the same since I only used one skill from the Shadow tree which is Curse to apply Supress, and the Physical tree already has a supress tool (but it's slightly worse).

So first equip a Supress ability. Then I went full Lightning with Electro Bolt - Arc - Disrupt - Energize - Volt Snare - 5/5 Speed passive from lightning tree and lastly 5/5 Critical chance passive from physical tree ( to be at 50% crit chance with items so Disrupt+Arc is a guaranteed crit). Maybe the fire strain has something to replace one of those abilities. Everything is level 1 exepted the passives.

Items: focus on speed+power, vitality second, defense last. 30% crit to Sonny
Partners: Herregods+Zach (Kara tends to kill herself on the wife and Veradux has his dumb electro bolt that make Chroma Shell lightning type). I just equip the last line of stuff from the shop on pretty much everybody exepted Sonny which needs 30% base crit chance from items.

Main goal of the battle is to focus the Baron and take him down before he can throw 2 Silences; for that you need to keep him Supressed, slow the Baroness so the Baron is healed even less (ideally Snare the baroness when her Focus bar is empty), and use Disrupt+Arc whenever the fight allows it. Electro Bolt is used only on the turn before his silence comes out (it's around his 8th turn or so), and then to kill the Baroness.

First evolution should be Arc, ideally get the +50% crit chance (so it becomes 100% and you don't need to Disrupt beforehand, just Haste yourself with Energize). But the +10% damage ignore armor is good too (especially against Baroness).

Baron should be dead in 3-4 Arcs max. If he can throw a second silence, with all the Power he now has he can one-shot your entire party. Still, one partner will probably die, but Baroness is beatable 2v1 by spamming Electro Bolt and Curse. When she's under kill threshold with Arc, you can kill yourself to finish her.

edit: this is done without training (Legend run) but with training you can add points in Arc or in Disrupt (for more healing)

He didn't asked which strain combo would be best, he asked how to beat it on combo he has.....
