Sonny
Hey Krin, you dead or just silent?
There is nothing that has been said via Twitter since Mid-January, Krinstudios has flat out vanished with no clearly stated reason that I could find, and there has also been no further response about another potential Patch, if there is even going to be one. Barring his Facebook, which I'm not totally sure is him, there's been nothing everywhere else.

To Dora or anyone else reading this. Does anyone have any information on this to clear it up? Even for someone with as much history of extended radio silence like Krin, it's rather unusual that there has been no further talk of projects to come.

Hi there! I apologize for the delay in response. We're all puttering around behind the scenes.

Krin is essentially just... working. Krin has a day job in addition to his development work on Sonny for Android, and he's never been much for social media. As for a patch, well, at the moment, we're of couse going to keep patching bugs, but any potential additional UI patches (similar to the ones we've already done) are going to have to wait for after the game is out and complete on Android so we can evaluate what the best course of action is.

Thanks for your time, and again, sorry for the delay.

Thank you for an answer. I was hoping this discussion wouldn't be unanswered. So, any estimates for Android's release and then more patches?

Hi! Unfortunately, we don't have any dates for Android beyond "hopefully soon". We're getting some weird issues with particular devices we're looking into testing, and we don't want to say a date and have something weird passing. We'll announce it on Twitter when it's ready. Sorry for the delay.
hey dora I was wondering about sonny 3 and if it will come out on PC just looking for a 2019 update.

There is no update. And there likely won't be any others short of Hell freezing over or Krin being desperate for cash and coming back to fix this game up and take the gamble he previously had no stock in.

Unfortunately, Krin and Dora both have left this fanbase and this game out to rot and fade into obscurity. Well, maybe not obscurity in the conventional sense, but certainly way more than the old Sonny games ever endured. They are over a decade old and people STILL love them for all their quirks and irks.

Dora claimed in another discussion post that there are no new updates planned. They don't (reliably) believe they could still get more money off Sonny 2017 if they do more updates and fix up this immense hot list of issues the game still has going for it despite the 3 updates they've done before now.

It's a damn idiotic shame, really. Krin wan't ever big on updates for the previous Sonny games as far as I can tell and he had the opportunity here with this new one to go back and fix it up. He chose to squander the chance and cut his losses rather than fix it up.

What's more, nobody really knows just what his next project is. Dora said that he is working on a new project of some kind, but wasn't totally specific and it's been a while since that particular post.

Don't ask Dora.
Ask the fan who's behind it.

Is this a RIP for Flash singing it's last remaining stanzas of Swan Song, or is it because Krin is actually confirmed dead and with it this Series and all his others?

I mean that since the main creator of Sonny trylogy is currently out of reach - I asume that he is proclaimed dead. Sorry pal! But for now - I don't have hopes that Sonny would return in the future...
