Is there a way to make the twitch chat smaller
i bought this so i could live stream and see my chat but when i put it on the back of the controller it is freaking huge, i would try taking a screenshot but i havent figured that out yet ( only just got the headset the other day). i sthere a way to make the whole chat that it captures from twitch smaller, i know i can crop it and move it but i want it so its not taking up my whole view.

if anyone has a fix for this i would love to know how to do it :D

Sure, the scale can be set in the lower right of the Desktop Window. Opacity is controlled here too. Just enter the desired width in meters (height calculated automatically), and press ‘Enter’. You can also hover your cursor over the box and use the scroll wheel. Most of the UI elements have tooltips if you hover your cursor over them for a few seconds.

I had detailed instructions here for OpenVRDesktopDisplayPortal[github.com], OVRdrop’s predecessor. Most of the UI layout is still the same, although I’ll definitely have to make a new guide soon — I’m holding out until after the new systems are ready as I’m planning to give OVRdrop a facelift and as I’m the only developer it’s wasted time spent writing up guides for systems which will soon be deprecated.

OVRdrop also has an FAQ over here[github.com] which goes over the basics. There are also Beta builds available here[github.com], though some of the newer features may contain breaking bugs (please report them!).

You can also normally grab and ‘stretch’ the Overlay, but that still only works for ‘World’ overlays right now. Controller attached overlays are using a different set of algorithms and I was having issues with the matrices involved until recently.
