Can't Map R2 or L2 Buttons on Stick

I can not map either R2 or L2 buttons using a hori real arcade pro 3 which works great otherwise, and works fine in SF5 and usf4. When I try to set the buttons which should show as RT or LT, it registers the input but it leaves the setting blank in the game. It's a playstation 3 stick.

Mine Hori Rap v3 don't recognize Diagonals..... it only goes for Up, Down, Left, Right in the button map, but in the game it desconsiders the diagonals.. what did you do ?

For the buttons, a work around in steam. Go to View..Options...controllers. I ticked Ps4 support and my RAP3 showed up. I then reconfigured L2 and R2 buttons to the LB and RB basically, and re in put all my other buttons in there. Sucks because now I have to reconfigure my stick for SF4 and USF4 now that is been remapped.

that workaround for the buttons didnt work for me but hitting the switch that says L3/R3 to L1/L2 let me map 1 more button. i now have all 6 attack buttons but not in the configuration i would like.
