DC and PS2 versions are pretty ignored nowadays due to frame rate issues and some balance changes/bug fixes the active scene don’t like.
OE on the PS3 is still very close to arcade accurate while having extra content casuals might enjoy. Combo trials, a challenge mode, a gallery, an alternate soundtrack, dipswitches, playable Gill. Balance is untouched from the arcade version too. Really the only problem with OE is just that it’s stuck on the PS3
If you’re interested at all in playing other people online though, you’ll be disappointed with any of the console ports. Anyone that wants to play 3S does so on Fightcade. It’s one of the most popular games there.
Guess emulation on the Steam Deck (Emudeck) may be also a choice to have it portable, but if the one in 30AC is an accurate port of the original arcade maybe its fine enough.
BTW If i remember correctly some games of the 30AC had a bug wich made them to get stuck on high difficulty even if you apparently change it, what games are those affected by that "fixed difficulty" bug?
Time will come to get fightcade eventually.
