I would say no. There aren't that many people online, and since this collection uses the ROMs from the arcade, the computer is very difficult to beat.

I have heard good things about Fightcade. Have you tried that?

Capcom's bundles are mostly for the bonus content (art, music, etc.) and practice mode. Their online play is pretty bad and you'll want fightcade for that, but I'd also check with your favorite game's discord.
(Fightcade also has a practice mode which is pretty good, but-for me-it is harder to navigate).

For me it is, but if you are only interested in multiplayer, the answer is probably not worth it. You can find gamers on the static posts by DarkSamus right here, but not so many. Check this:

With Steam Remote Play Together you can play even without buying the game if someone invites you.
Still, you will find more users on Fightcade.
Thanks, useful stuff. ill also defo check out fightcade
All the active player base of all Capcom games are on Fightcade.

Only buy this version if you want a nice walkthrough of Street Fighter's history before Street Fighter 4. It's a nice package if you care about just playing the Arcade modes or even playing with another person, but if you're going for an Online only experience you're better off getting Fightcade and a Discord server.
It's worth it if you already own it, like I do.
If you want to play online download Fightcade it's full of players.

Nope, it's unplayable since they added DRM. Game shows it's starting but then, it stops. Tried reisntaling the game, steam, verifying the files etc. Get away also from Capcom Fighting Collection, and probably any Capcom game until they remove their DRM that breaks your games and prevent you to play what you bought.

...kind of.

While it does have a lot of interesting stuff showing how SF came to be (concept arts, music, etc.), the cpu in some of the games (not ALL of them but at least a good half) have a very unfair AI, Super Turbo being the worst offender. Practice Mode is there but not for all games, there's no input option for 3 punches or kicks as far as I know, and whatever playerbase it had before, it sure diminished once talk of the DRM came around. If you want to play the games against people and nothing else, then by all means stick to Fightcade.
Go and get the roms and play it in mame: I have a gamesir c2 arcade stick and the SF anniversary doesn´t recognize inputs as the shinku hadouken, but mame recognizes and it works as charm.

I use RetroArch, it's a free, authorised multi-emulator on Steam store. Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX (the expanded PSP version) can be played there.
