the bug forces you into the hardest setting, with no way to fix that.
this only applies to the us version, which all future versions were based on gameplay-wise.
supposedly the japanese version is easier and less punishing. still, i wish capcom wouldve fixed the bug from a game they made, or release a new version from the ground up.
by the way, we still want ultra street fighter ii capcom. the ai is fixed in that game.
street fighter is kind of in a renaissance since 4 (yes, v might have stumbled a bit, but it ended very strong), so never say never.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting CAPCOM USA Customer Support. The default difficulty found in the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection represents the original difficulty modes found in the original Arcade releases. The difficulty can still be decreased or increased for most games by accessing the game-specific options for each title in the game selection menu. Additionally, save states are available in the main menu that can be created and loaded at any point in case of a loss or unintended outcome. Additionally, we recommend consulting free guides and walkthroughs online which can help you progress through the games. We have not announced any plans to update the difficulty of the games, however we appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience.
Best Regards,
CAPCOM USA Customer Support
