Why didn't Capcom include Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper in the collection?

1. They could have included the Vanilla and Upper version.
2. They could have fixed the input lag.
Even if Upper couldn't have been possible to port, they still could have ported Alpha 3 Max.

theres a cps2 version of it so they could actually easily implement it.
this whole collection is a huuuuuuge oversight they just dropped the broken un updated first versions that were drawn out pretty quick back in the days in arcades and revisions were sent

these games are awesome but they could have at least added all the revisions

I don't think it's that easy to just to fix the input lag. It's inherent in even the original arcade. The original is what people play. They play it because of the crouch cancels and so called "exploits". It's a huge part of the meta. Taking that away just changes the game completely. That and the issue with the input delay is why most people do not play the later versions of the game. It wasn't an oversight, it's the right call.

im sorry im gonna call this a biassed reply. at the end of the day its a personal choice of what we like. im biassed myself but the fact that the revisions are there for a reason i played all of them and the latest have more characters i mean u just cant go around that man

You can have your preferences but the fact of the matter is, the competitive community plays the original. It's what is played in Japan and it is what all competitive players play in the US as well. That's not a biased statement. It is a fact. You can like whichever version you want but the bulk of the player base plays the original.

Sounds like you should look into getting Alpha Anthology.
I love upper, and world tour mode, and Alpha 3 Max... But yeah, we didn't get any of that here. No Alpha 2 Gold No Alpha Gold, none of that sexy arranged music...

They definitely missed imo. But I guess retroarch is going to get way more love when I find people who actually care about all the missing features as much as I do.

Yeah, I got Alpha Anthology a couple days ago.

I hope you enjoy it! I sure did. So much stuff, the hyper fighting. Only thing that I do miss from it is that they didn't put world tour, and apparently japanese alpha 2 gold has more stuff? I don't remember... It is still leagues better than what they have here, if you can stomach not having the main games.

SFA3 here is just a cps2 emulator.You can't figure out why capcom didn't include upper?coz it has no cps2 version.
