lol
I'm oficially giving up now
Just adding 5 per win is pretty stupid, but yeah that is just an awful long time to keep winning.
I thought the same when I started playing it (actually when I got the game and saw there was a belt ranking system, I thought I would be white belt like forever. You know... playing your entire life against the machine doesn't make you too confident against people).
In the end I got "pretty far" to my surprise, but I also got lucky though... managed to play against some people with higher belt ranks, and that gives you 15 points. If you lose, you lose 5.
But only in ST. The other games I know I'll never reach blue (probably Hyper Fighting if the rank didn't reset though, but the online is dead around here now)
Now, if I could be really sincere with you (since now I saw you're from Brazil)... better give up on that for a while because it'll be pretty much impossible now since last patch, because it's simply impossible to find foreigners to play now.
Online is pretty much dead in Brazil, and the few "upper ranks" guys (excluding me, because I suck lol) are pretty much "beasts" in their games.
by the way as a fun fact... I got blue just ONE DAY before the patch, so I was really lucky.
I managed to win six matches straight against a blue belt guy and that gave me the exact necessary left to reach there from where I was, so it was pure luck.
the last match (when I got the achievement) WAS AT THE EXACT, and when I say EXACT it's EXACT moment when Brazil made the first goal against Serbia in World Cup.
It was one of the most hilarious moments of my life to hear everyone screaming in the nearby houses like they were cheering on it lol. Something I definitely will never forget how funny it was.
The only game I play online is Third Strike, and doesn't look so dead when I usually play it. The problem is that everyone who play it is a Fightcade veteran, besides me, who only had played it on the Dreamcast until now.
Sad but you're probably right. That achievement is not for me ;/
Hmmm, do you mind say if you're able to find foreigners still (with good connection quality,of course)? Or just fellow brazilian players? Since patch it's pretty much dead for me.
Third Strike is the game I play the least of the four (I guess even less than Alpha 3, which I'm so awful at that it's like... retarded), so maybe it's not dead as the others (and even then I only found like two matches after the patch)
But stick with it. I think with a price cut down the road, more people will join and by the time you'll have more experience.
But yeah, honestly, I think the achievement should be around... Green or even the "light red" belt before blue. I guess Blue would be like... say... Gold in SFV I don't know? I think it's a bad comparison, specially because it depends on the region too... and the game.
But it's pretty high for most people, and no fun, but it doesn't mean much in the current state of the game/player base, really. The fact that I got shows that (and I suck)
I actually can't say where they from
I'm actually Super Gold in Street Fighter V and blue looks way harder than this...
Is probably harder than reach the Platinum on SFV, since there's way less people playing SF30th and mostly of them are actually really good players.
Cool story man, tomorrow México vs Brasil at 9am (may the best win!)
Honestly, I hope Mexico wins.
Throw stones at me... but I usually root against Brazil because the country has far more concerns than rooting for a bunch of rich kids playing balls.
It's also election year around here... the "sober" the people, the better. Even if it didn't mean anything, like... forever...
But any other sports (specially when there are hard working people involved with almost no funding/ help), IT'S BRAZIL ANYDAY =)
I like the national team but i hate that Neymar dude
I hate football in general, but all Neymar do is to keep doing that goofy Dan's LVL 3 secret super combo with the start button on the field (the one he keeps rolling and screaming).
He has a good sixth sense to bail out though. Gotta give him that: Once he realizes the team will lose, he manages to fake an injury himself somehow to get rid of the blame on him.
