I would love to play that online with people.
Of course! Unfortunately, emulation of PSP is harder to implement in a bundle made only with arcade versions. Alpha 3 Upper, on the other hand, has been released in an arcade version and can use the same emulator of the other 11 games.
Nope, because the alpha 3 upper was released on Sega Naomi and the others were released on CPS1, CPS2 and CPS3 (SF3).
So to emulate every alpha version except the alpha 3 upper they just need to use CPS2 emulators.
TBH they might even be using some emulation based on FBA that doesn't even support Naomi and they might not be inclined to spent time on Dreamcast/Naomi Emulation to support only one game!
Which is really a shame as the PS2 alpha anthology was awesome!
That's sad. SFA3U or SFA3M would be cake top for this collection
Agree with you!
I hope to be wrong and for Cacpom to read the forums and include a more complete version of sfa3.
Yep, I guess everyone prefers, since it only adds content.
Is there anywhere in Internet where we can direct speak to Capcom? Like a support forum or else?
Unfortunately no. You'd have better luck contacting the developers "Digital Eclipse" at their website http://www.digitaleclipse.com. Being notoriously lazy though, I'm sure they wouldn't take the time to try to import any rom that wasn't a CPS1,CPS2, or CPS3 file.
How about you get the Zyklon-B?
There's two versions of Alpha 3 on the Arcades, the CPS2 Alpha 3 which they chosed and the Naomi Alpha 3 which is the Alpha 3 Upper and is way better!
I want proper implementation with online capability, training mode and saving features just like we already have with Vanilla Alpha 3.
Don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about Max or it's characters, I want real Arcade Ports.
Note* The Naomi 2 is the one I want. The Dreamcast version was a sprite upscale that ended up messing up the hitbox with animations lost. The Saturn version had the proper animations and framerates with the characters included which was a nice touch.
Capcom should have all binaries/source code to re-compile for PC and make it happen. No need to emulate anything. X-Input/D-Input and everything needed for modern computers and futureproof. All we want is a good SEGA Naomi port of SFA3 Upper.
Also, I understand that Vanilla SFA3 was widespread outside of Japan and that SFA3 Upper came out late when Capcom vs SNK 2 was very popular but please Capcom, please!!! Why not make SFA3 Upper part of the CPT tour and bring old and new players together and discover new stuff that old Vanilla Pro players already know? Make them re-learn a classic!
