Who are great counter to Ken,Ryu, Sagat in SF 2 turbo
Getting tired of players that play this game to only spam one or two move in the game. Like why buy a fighting game if thats all your going to do. smh

If you cant deal with low peoples will spam low. If you cant deal with overhead peoples will use it alot against you. Fighting game is not about fighting pretty. Fighting game is about taking advantage of enemies weakness.

well that is the gameplay of shoto characters in ST. can't really blame players for doing that. regarding your questions... pick Akuma lol

Dhalsim and Claw are both good matchups against these characters. both can slide under fireballs. Dhalsim can divekick over projectiles or just poke them with his long range jump normals. with Claw you can use your wall dives.

hahaha, Honda is awful against shotos and Sagat. Guile might go even. And yes, fireball zoning is pretty much their strategy. It's up to you go figure out a way around it. It's going to feel impossible when someone has great zoning and is much better than you. It might feel like they are "spamming" but really, it's just your inexperience with the game. You'll get better. You have to know your spacings.

Honda has a super hard time against any character with a fireball, especially shotos. Jumping over fireballs leaves you vunerable to many counters. You'll have to learn how to neutral jump over fireballs and bulldog your way forwards (walk forward, then block on reaction against fireballs). You need to force them back into a corner, where you can start using Honda's solid normals to punish and stuff their moves. You'll also limit their counters to well timed jumpins at this range. Then you can start throw loop tricks, Like HP grab, walk under crossup sweeps and stuff.

If you are a shoto and you are losing against Hondas, then your fireball game is weak.

With regards to the the OP. If people see you can't counter something, be prepared to see them keep doing it against you.

You are asking for counters to certain characters which is fine. However Ryu and Sagat are both top tier and don't have many weak matchups. Ken too is also upper middle tier, and doesn't have many weak matchups. So I don't think it will benefit you much by saying use x character against y character when you probably won't know how to use the character properly in those matchups anyway since you are complaining about fireball spammers. Like I can say Dhalsim is good against Sagat, now off you go. That doesn't help you if you never really play Dhalsim, since a good Sagat will still beat you. So I think it would benefit you more if you told us what characters you use (since you will be more famaliar with them) and then people can help you specifically with those matchups.

speaking about Honda and neutral jumps. he has the same trick here like in SF4. doing a neutral j.HP allows you to slightly move forward in the air if you hold forward. it's a good option to jump over fireballs without committing too much.

Thats only for ST, pretty sure he is talking about Hyper Fighting

oh ok, the Turbo confused me. but HF is also known as Turbo. yeah, could be. in that case, forget what I said. I don't have much knowledge about HF.
