I would love too if Ps4 can legacy controller support or was cheaper. The masterdisgrace is the worst gaming community. nothing but free to play mobas and casual junk gets any playerbase.

you seem to overestimate player numbers for fighting games in general. fighting games don't have a big audience, this isn't any different on consoles. but one can sure talk oneself into believing that his would be the case since there are no sources to actually check player numbers for consoles unlike it is the case with Steam.

I remember there being a buttload of people on ps3 online edition. new players and good, for years after release. this game is a ghost town. leaderboards for this game only go to like 1000, I think OE went to something crazy like 60,000

you claim it were a ghost town yet finding a match is a matter of seconds. and I don't know where you get your info from but you can't scroll through the leaderboards. it only shows you the first 50 entries or the 50 after your placement. so there is no way to tell how long the leaderboards actually are.

easy, play 1 match in a game you havent played and check where you are on the leaderboards. you'll be in the top 1000 or so. because that's all that ever played, and most of those aren't playing all games evenly. there is lots of overlap. each game probably has less than 100 consistantly active players and that will drop as the weeks go by.

this still doesn't give you the end of the leaderboard. even with only one match you'll be ranked with the same points an many others. just like beginner with even more matches but the same amount of ranked points. sure, they'll probably a small dedicated player base be left after some time. but you couldn't really expect more. again, it's not like this were a new game.

If many others have a whopping 0-5 points they aren't playing the game so it doesn't matter.

I guess you are used to PC so you think this is normal dude.vit has nothing to do with this being a port collection and everything to do with PC players and the lack thereof.

number of matches doesn't indicate. you actually need to win a good amount of them to have points. if you're beginner you likely to very few or even 0 points. meaning you're at the end of the leaderboard despite having played a lot of matches.

I guess this is the first time for you playing a smaller fighting game release so you think it achieves the same player numbers as something like DBZF or Tekken. gotta disappoint you there dude.
