I have been playing these games for years, not a pro but I can handle myself even on the hardest difficulty... why aren't my moves activating!? It's so frustrating!

I noticed the inputs are little bit harder to register (thinner frame window), probably because of the netcode.
Offline seems okay though, even if compared to the real pcb it feels like one frame of lag.

I have way less issues having my moves come out here compared to Fightcade. They must've done something to make the controls more lenient at least for the 4 titles you can play online.

You might want to go into training mode and turn on input display; if you have sloppy inputs or the game isn't picking up your controller right, that's the fastest way to figure it out. Also great for practicing execution.

The game has input delay set at 3 by default. Change it to 0 in the settings.

That's for online play.
