Dramatic Battle Alpha 3
With this being an arcade port and not have access to the dipswitches, will we still be able to get the time unlocked unlockables (extra characters, dramatic battle, etc)?

The arcade version had a couple things unlock after a set amount of time, or if you input a bunch of codes in the dipswitch. Has this been spoken about at all?

According to someone who got a PS4 copy early, they were able to change stuff like rounds/difficulty/etc. That being said, they didn't say anything about whether you can use the Alpha 3 codes. I'd imagine that if it wasn't set to that state on launch, they could change it later.

That sucks if thats the case seeing how those were major features for SFA3 arcade machines.

Man, Dramatic Battle would be so nice. Me and my best friend have spent so many nights in this mode back in the day. If Capcom could just release Alpha 3 MAX on PC a dream would come true...

Just a heads up, the only thing time unlocked is Balrog, Juni and Juli. I suspect they'll just use a ram state where they're unlocked from the start.

And for dramatic battle; "Hold all 3 kick buttons, insert coins, press start, and then let go of the buttons".

Survival Mode; "Just Press all punches before you press start."

Classic Mode; "To play in Classic Mode, before you put your money in the machine make sure you hold Jab and Short Kick. Press start and continue to hold these buttons while you choose a fighter."

No-ISM; "Before putting your money in the machine, press and hold Firece Punch and Roundhouse Kick. Press Start and continue to hold these buttons while you select a fighter. This code will give you ''X'' mode strength and will also get rid of your guard meter."

Saikyo Mode; "Insert your coins, hold low punch and low kick, and press the Start button. Release the Start button, and the other buttons and select your character. Your character will have a very low guard meter, but your opponent will not."

Extra Damage; "Before you put your money in the machine, hold Strong Punch and Forward Kick. Press start and continue to hold these while you choose your fighter."

All worked on my original CPS2 Zero 3 board.

So going by the Street Fighter Retrospective series of vids (which uses footage from this collection), you CAN pick the time locked characters. That being said, they are the first time locked group. The remaining modes do require other time release codes afterwards in the Arcade board.

The best way to determine if everything was unlocked was to check the background colour of the title screen.

Cream = Default (Nothing unlocked)
Red = Juni, Juli, and Balrog are unlocked
Green = Classic Mode unlocked as well
Blue = Mazi and Saikyo modes unlocked
Light Blue = Survival, Dramatic, and Final Battle are unlocked

As long as the title screen is light blue, everything should be unlocked.

EDIT: Guess we got our answer. All codes will work: https://twitter.com/MiK3Star1688/status/1000409441097977857/photo/1
