Hyper Street Fighter II?

Will they be adding HSFII to this collection? I like that it has all the game styles in one game.

Pretty sure he is talking about Hyper Street Fighter II : Anniversary Edition. And it wouldn't be out of place considering it also had an arcade release on CPS2. I wouldn't mind having that either, and would be happy to have that as DLC at the very least (with online support of course).

If they launch Hyper Street Fighter 2, SF2 Deluxe Mode of Capcom Generations 5, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold PS2 Version with Cammy,Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max PSP and Hyper Street Fighter Alpha with the necessary fixes,region and revision select or new training modes as a Freemium DLC now that is only 20$ will be a bomb.

I believe ST purists didn't like HSFII since ST characters couldn't soften throws from non-ST characters (not even ST Old characters, which are selected by holding Start then choosing Super at the character select screen). Plus apparently CPS-1 characters had better dizzy potential.

Nah,that's USF2. HSFII is the anniversary edition that allows every version of every character to be played in previous games (from World Warrior to Super Turbo). It also ran on CPS2 and it's omission from the collection is puzzling.

USF2 is a high-res edition of SSF2T with the features you've described and currently only available on the Switch, and appears to be a modified version of the older HD Remix on PS3/XB360.

USF2 features the HD Remix graphics, but not the balance changes from it, two extra shoto palette swap characters, the ability to have classic backgrounds, you can play as the boss version of Akuma through a code.

USF2 has its own dumb changes. Like throw techs and running at a different speed. Plus new characters are busted. It’s good for messing around with but no one will take it seriously. And HDR graphics is awful.

There's also not to mention giving every character (besides the evil shotos) the same amount of dizzy health, which means that strong characters like Dhalsim and Claw have the same dizzy health as characters who need more dizzy health like Zangief.

The lack of speed settings also confuses me. I'm sure there are people out there who grew up with the SNES port of The World Warrior.

USF2 isn't really worth it when you can get the collection with SSF2T and the whole Alpha and 3 series for the same price

But I wouldn't mind paying 15 bucks if Alpha 3 Max (+ some added content) got on PC + consoles
