BBCF crashes on loading screen

Hello, I have a problem, when I go to play with friends online in BBCF, before character selection and just before starting combat, the game closes abruptly, happens this many times but not always. From time to time it creates a .mdmp file When I open the file it shows me the following:

NULL\_POINTER\_READ\_c0000005\_BBCF.exe!Unknown.

What I can do? because it really is very frustrating, and even more so when I'm with friends.

Also a text file is created that says "Thread Delete Time Out", maybe you know the reason why it happens but not the solution):

I did it, just like reinstalling the game 6 times, I put it on the avast whitelist and it didn't help me

Does it ever occur with offline modes? If not then you might have gotten the dreaded D-code bug.

Do you have anything that could be interfering with the game, like mods or DLL injectors active in the background? Just trying to rule out the possibility of a broken mod install breaking the game.

Yes, I have the mod installed, but it also happens without mods, I don't know about the injectors, I don't know how I could see that either.
nope, just from time to time, in the aforementioned loading screens it sends me to the desktop and the game closes

That might just be one way it can manifest itself. Anyway I think you can test it by installing the game on another computer, and create another Steam account and use it to play the game on the same computer. That should help you determine if it's a software issue or an account issue.

Alright. And yeah, a fresh install on a different computer is a good way of checking that, if OP can.

I also uninstalled Avast, because I thought Avast was the problem, but it wasn't
