I manage just fine against the AI, but I tend to use DD or RC out of sheer habit before the end of the round. :/
I were playing around with Hazama, as he's been very neglected recently. I did a mix of OD and Distortion finishes, and didn't even know the unlimited ones existed as bosses.. and that Nine at least didn't care what the difficulty were set to?
(..as I'd rather jump feet first into a meatgrinder then face her again, without being prepared for it at least.)
I've been messig around with Terumi and Amane, and forgot
Ragna have a quite logical gameplay, with decent damage and 'standard' moves, where Hazama have pretty low damage outside combos, and when once forgotten, really strange move-set to get the combos going again.
(That my arcadestick have begun getting rusty (for real!) didn't really help me
And, yes, the AI will usually have its difficulty to max when you fight them.
That were quite.. noticable, from just farting around with the other chars on my (unsuspected) way there.
so I guess you could practice against the abyss bosses to learn their unique abilities
