Blazblue Alternative Dark War has been announced to be a Mobile game. For now BBCF is the final fighting game of the series. But, I believe once Arc system works have mostly finished their jobs with guilty gear they will continue with BB series. It's just my speculation, but I believe we will have bbcf with us for awhile before the next game.

According to an interview, Mori wants to do an RPG next. And realistically we won't get another BlazBlue game like this one anyways.

It's possible, but he wants to expand the Franchise in more directions.
So we might get the same wild ride GG got for like two decades.

The Mobile Game will definitly be something I'm looking forward too, especially if it's a Gacha. Internal suffering is fun.....

i can feel it will be not Blazblue game. Just another new series from Mori. Well until GG Strive release wait like 2-4 month. Maybe they will show it.

Honestly, Mori was vague about it. I remember reading a reddit post about how he was thinking of making a new Blazblue game that was meant to be a RPG and that the main lead was supposed to be the child of Tsubaki and Jin. But, in saying that I remember seeing another post where he wanted to focus on the "Murakumo's storyline" Whatever, that would mean, considering I thought we've been shown that already. But, as of now its just speculation. Remember, with Blazblue Mori could say one thing and then do the complete opposite.

Would be fine by me, as long as we get a new FG in this expansion of the franchise.

I would still prefer Sprites for BB.

A cel-shaded 3D BlazBlue game could look awesome, but I also think sprites would still fit the game better. Though they'd have to remake them from scratch for 1080p or 4K for them to look nice, maybe ditching the heavy "3D reference" process and directly using actual animation.
