I'm pretty sure the only cases of Stylish being able to do something Technical can't are with charge moves, since I believe Stylish can do at least some of those instantly.
Also, I'm pretty sure most people (especially the ones that are decent or better) don't use Stylish.
Thank you for the input. Yes, I mean Stylish mode.
That's what I've noticed while playing with Stylish on, I was limited to some attacks and I couldn't mix stuff.
I indeed felt limited.
Thanks for all replies. Now I know I'm in the right direction. I'm trying to train to get into BB Cross (I'm assuming people will migrate from this one to that).
I know how stupid this might sounds but through learning combos you can actually erhm improve your ability to learn combos. Learning how to learn better sounds absurd but somehow works. Perhaps its improving muscles perhaps building self confidence or improving coordination.
If you with to learn CF combos do it. Perhaps it wont help you alot but it actually will help a little for sure. Take it step by step. You dont have to learn everything at once. You dont even need very long sessions but be persistant and systematic. Day after day.
Exactly. Even the way characters move matter in this case. It's not like every street fighter game they move the same. Arc Systems games are very diferent from others. I remember how hard it was to learn to play GG. There was no punchs, kicks and etc. The movements are so unorthodox that they are harder to follow with the eyes. Every character has its own moveset.
Thats why they are so amazing. Whats funny is that 90% of times they make this strange things work and be fun for players (although sometimes they make Susano'o with masochistic unlocking strategy argh).
This is no DBFZ.
In DBFZ only Bereerus, Hit and Broly are really unique.
I agree. Most characters are very similar in DBFZ but I've heard team vs team fighting games tend to have very similar characters to help people learn it (because they're learning 3 fighters intead of 1). Is that true?
It is very likely that were idea behind characters simplicity in DBFZ. However UMvC3 had significantly higher level of characters complication and far greater magnitude of differences between particular characters. Tekken Tag Tournament 1 & 2 didnt simplified characters at all in fact they added few moves per character and few tag mechanics.
I see. I always played MvC games and I've never found the characters over simplified to help entry level players. It always felt like playing Marvel Super Heroes and Street Fighter but in the same game and 3v3. I've never played Tekken Tag.
Thanks for your answer.
Susano'o was one of them. It was really strange to play him on stylish.
