However, to compensate for this, whenever he's hit during standing, he's considered to be crouching, meaning every standing combo gets +2 frames of hitstun, leading to some pretty nasty combos against him most of the time, with some combos that work only him. Think of Jin's ice moves, they usually force his opponent back into a standing state, even on air hit, so against jubei, Jin would be able to start an air combo and turn it into a crouching combo, which isn't normally possible.
Also leads to some dumb nonsense. A fellow Tager player confirmed that j.2C Fatal Counter can lead you to do [3C > 22D] five times over due to how gadget finger normally drops them into standing hitstun, but gives crouching in this instance. Trollish, but kinda funny.
it's a tough call to make, because while i hate how the drive changes, i love the cancelling added to his other moves
