Online player population: PC vs PS4

I've been interested in this game recently but would like to know which platform has the highest online population.

I would rather play the version that has the highest online population or at least the online population that's easiest to get matches with if I do end up buying the game.

Probably ps4, but pc version has a lot of players too since this week, probably because of EVO and sale.

You won't find easy matches on either, but if small bits matter more, then the ps4 version has a slightly bigger community

EU's perspective: there are like 4-8 rooms open during the afternoon and evening but the majority of them are 0 bars, probably asian. So realistically, you can get 2-3 lobbies with a decent connection quality during the evenings.

Are people still playing in Ranked? Or is it dead like the PS3/4? West coast here, debating if I should doubt dip.
