Please fix the Fullscreen Framerate
I don't know why but the fullscreen is locked at 50hz on 1080p...

I can run it at 60 fps borderless windowed but that cause the image to be distorted (lots of thin lines across the screen)

Been searching high and low for more information for this. Can I please have your specs, especially graphics card and monitor resolution please?
And if possible, laptop or desktop.

Thank you very much.

I can run windowed fullscreen with no problem, but yeah I get locked at 50 FPS in fullscreen. Not sure which problem you're referring to, but assuming you're looking at the 50Hz/50FPS problem, here are my specs:

i7-3770 @ 3.4GHz
8GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 555 (game to use this, configured with Nvidia control panel)
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Resolution: 1920x1080

On a desktop.

To my knowledge everyone using a gsync monitor gets a black screen that forces you to tab out of the game when using full screen mode. w10/4790k/1080ti/PG279Q monitor.

If you guys have any idea on how to solve this I would be very grateful.

Considering that it is Golden Week now, it almost certainly won't get fixed earlier than Monday.

Have you guys tried turning off Vsync?
Roo May 3, 2017 @ 6:09pm
Desktop
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9505S
8 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit or x86)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 610
Resolution: 1360x768

Game runs Smooth (with VSYNC and AA Off) on Fullscreen but Window or Borderless Window makes the Game really Slow

Thank you.
I did it and yeah now the framerate is stable 60 fps in all the game. Now is tearing but is better than fps drops.

Turning off vsync only uncaps the frame rate, you're still getting 50hz with and without vsync.

Radeon R9 280 (Crimson Drivers 17.4.4)
ASUS VE228H (1080p@60hz) connected via DVI
i7 2600k
16GB of RAM
Windows 10 64 Build 15063 (Creator's Edition)

I turned off the v sync on fullscreen and the 50hz cap was gone, getting 60 fps all the time now. It's weird.

Hertz isn't frame rate, it's your refresh rate. They coincide due to the fact that your monitor can only display a max frame rate that is equal to your refresh rate, however having a certain refresh rate doesn't limit how many frames your GPU can process. An example would be 120fps doesn't matter unless you have a 120hz monitor to display it. The only difference with frame rates higher than 60fps on a 60hz monitor is less input lag.

Turning off VSync shouldn't change your refresh rate unless there's an isolated bug that only affects certain hardware - in which case it doesn't for me. If your refresh rate is 50hz with VSync on then you'll be locked to 50fps since VSync locks your frame rate to your refresh rate. If you disable VSync with 50hz then you'll get the game's capped framerate which is 60fps this game, however your refresh rate is still 50hz thus making it only display 50fps while running at 60fps.

I can confirm that this solution works, my FPS is back to 60 even for fullscreen.

I can also confirm that changes to the vsync setting (either enabling or disabling) do not take effect until you alt+tab out of the game and go back in. Presumably it would also apply once you restart the game.
