two people on one keyboard?

I often play blazblue with my brothers and friends when they are over which is kind of a problem now because I don't own any compatible controllers or any fancy softeware and as far as I can see central fiction doesn't allow two-person-one-keyboard suupport like chrono phantasma and continuum shift did so is there a way to change the setting so I can get that thing going again?

Fighting games aren't meant to be played with Keyboard. You can but that doesn't mean you should.

Steam Controllers should be compatible. Any USB Xinput controllers should be. For non compatible controllers you could try X360ce.

If USB plugins are a concern it's fairly cheap to get a 2.0 USB hub which is about all any computer needs for multiple USB controllers.

I found keyboard better than my Xbox 360 controller personally. I set my keyboard controls up like a Hitbox Controller and it worked fine. (Picture reference: https://8wayrun.com/attachments/img_4309-jpg.36991/ ) Though I was doing this before I got my fight stick which I found it my favorite of all the choices.

Also the Xbox 360 controller D-Pad is awful. I'd suggest getting a different kind of controller pad.

For fighting games gamepads are no better than keyboards (one thumb for 4 main buttons? Really?). In fact, gamepads suck at almost everything. They were invented for simple games like platformers and beat-em-ups.

I use arcade stick, but I've been messing around with keyboard for the hell of it and can tell it's really viable as long as you have a responsive keyboard with no ghosting. It's pretty similar to a hitbox with just smaller buttons obviously, just like most things it takes practice. I'd definitely rather use keyboard over Xbox 360 controller (terrible d-pad) if my arcade stick ever broke.
