I think most characters have character specific combos to get the most out of them. I don't pretend to speak for the devs, but just looking at her move list and how her basic combos are, she seems like a very beginner friendly character. Once you go deep, pretty much all characters are hard to play.
Even Ragna and Jin the oginal beginer frendly characters are now almsot advanced level characters so they added new easy characters to pad out the variety for fans.
then igot here in CF, his combo pretty much the same other than snake bite, but then the combo addition make him harder to play especially maximizing combo/heat.
Ragna seems becoming easier to land his aerial combo.
i dont know about other characters though.
In the past games (CPEX and CSEX) I've managed to do 50-75% of the challenges for most chars, but never a 100% with any. I should try Mai and Susano'o.
You mean, Challenge mode for CPEX and CSEX was better? It may be the case. As I said, I kinda suck at BB, the execution barrier is realy hard to me, and this is the first time I manage to do a Challenge at 100%.
I've played a few hours with Rachel, Nü, and Nine and I managed to do the 52% with them, the 65% with Izayoi and 76% with Kokonoe quite easily. I don't know if I'm improving my execution or if this Challenges are easier than before.
I think most of the Challenges are for improving inputs, execution and timing than being useful in actual matches. Maybe it's just me, but I remember getting a lot better in SFIV and KOF after doing the Challenges.
