Major FPS Issue
So, I bought Central Fiction, and I've been getting nothing but massive frame drops, whenever I'm in the main menu, it drops down to 15 and slowly builds up to at least 21 frames, in the Character Select screen it drops down to 13 to 12 frames and I get even lower frames during the matches. Anyway to solve this?

Does your system meet the minimum requirements?
Restart your computer. I had similar issues with both CT and CSEX.
Check your drivers.
Are you on a laptop? Make sure the game is using your dedicated GPU and not the integrated one. (Applies to desktops in certain odd cases as well).
Free up system resources.
Try other resolutions.
Do you have multiple monitors? Disable all but your main one.

Yeah I use a laptop, and I can run CPEX just fine, without V-Sync the a few other visual options disabled, I have tried different resolutions and it's all the same, I still get 15 frames in the main menu, I haven't checked my drivers in a while so that could be a potential reason. And my laptop is rather old, a 2005 model if I remember correctly so it may just be that I need a new laptop.

And you are certain the game is using your dedicated GPU? This is a common theme with ASW games. Many Control Centers for graphics cards assign the default, or energy saving profile for the application. Set up a custom profile for BBCF.exe and assign the highest performance options, with the lowest quality, in order to see if you can get the game running at 60FPS, then gradually crank up the settings.

I don't see much reason for this game to be that more hardware demanding than CPEX, with perhaps the exception of a few stages that look particularly nice.

I'm having the same issues as this person. The only difference between games in terms of graphics I can see is the inability to disable light bloom in the display options in CF. I have managed to get my framerate to 60 on the training stage, but as soon as some kind of attack effect is on screen the fps dips.
Open NVIDIA task Panel, click Manage 3d settings, click Program Settings, Add the game .exe, choose your GPU.

This is common to Laptops especially JP types of Games because they use the Integrated GPU instead. These types of game does not have a NVIDIA Registered License so you have to manually set them to use your NVIDIA GPU.

This were the main issues.
The bloom effect kinda ruined it.
Whenever i use OD/picking place with alot of effect this always occur.
Theres no problem in menu/training.

Then use Catalyst since AMD doesn't have a Control Panel as what NVIDIA has.

The only option in the AMD settings panel that I can reduce for performance is texture filtering, and the fps drops persist. Thank you for your suggestion, but I may be out of luck.

Hi. I don't use AMD cards, but may I suggest you take a look at [link removed because of Steam's bizarre censor].

You should find switchable graphics under the Power tab, assuming application versions match.

Edit: Refer to Mysticlights' link below instead.

I have Nvidia too. But here is a guide for amd gpus. It says that at least you can change settings to high performance.

the switchable graphics tab does not show up for me. No clue why that is.
I don't have Nividia..
