Pixelated character sprites

Anybody else having a problem with the character models being really pixelated? Everything else is fine and crisp but once I pick a toon suddenly I'm playing a psx game. I am sure this is not how the characters are supposed to look.

The in-game sprites were designed for arcade cabinet resolutions. Unfortunately, you'll have to settle for how pixelated they look cause of that.

I always had success with downsampling in blazblue (don't know why).

I can't deal with pixelate characters. Hit refund button one hour into the game, back to waiting on Tekken 7. :)

It's not the problem of upscaled/native.
BBCF is now too much pixelated in whether 768p or 1080p, way worse than BBCPEX.

Thanks for the help, but I am not sure how to change the scaling like you guys suggest.

At the moment, I can stream Chronophantasma from my PS4 to my PC, and when I window it alongside Central Fiction from Steam the comparison just makes no sense. The PS4 version of the older game looks way better.

So far, the port is pretty bad. Had to mess with Nvidia settings to remove performance issues and still have no idea what to do with the sprites. It's funny, but the arcade dump is a techinically superior version right now.

It is a mess already. Very unprofessional, CPEX and CSE ports didn't have these issues.

Was hyped to do something but seems like keyboard have issues,
havent tried to check the fps on the laptop.

I don't understand this response. Pixelated sprites might be a deal killer for me and then guess what? Back to waiting on Tekken 7 for me as well.

That really is borderline unacceptable. The game looks fun and I was excited to get into a new franchise but I don't blame anyone for not wanting to take a chance on a game that has an issue like this.

Unfortunate news imo.

Nesica version looked fine. I'll try the Steam version and compare screenshots.

Previous Blazblue PC ports were made with Xbox360 and PS3 video outputs in mind so the various image display issues were also present in the PC version.
