if u have trouble with sound, then type in terminal:
aplay -l
and than edit .asoundrc
(if u using alsa) edit first line with the number of device from the "aplay -l" list
.... works for me everytime in slackware 14.0
* dont need to restart steam, works like charm immediatly

Разочаровывает низкая производительность... уверен что в этом виноват видеодрайвер. При достаточно производительной видео подсистеме игра нормально работает только на средних настройках. Что конечно разочаровывает... Гейб приврал сказав что ни линукс производительность просто супер )))
Ubuntu 12.04x32
Phenom 2 1090 T 4.00GHz ATI 6950 x 2 CrossFire на средних настройках 35 fps ...

Surprised it runs (at low settings though) on my garbage old desktop. Getting weird flickering on intel graphics on my laptop but happy with the purchase

+1 just bought this game because of linux! All happiness, just a problem, checklist:

Audio - OK
Control - OK (alt + tab issues, fixed with shift + tab before)
Video - 6/10 ...

Video -> I run the game in crapindows in 'insane', 16xAA, but on linux it's laggy... running on 'high'. Any tips/??

Archlinux 64bits / gnome 3 / Xorg 1.14.1 / nvidia 319.23
i7 3820 / 16gb ram / 2x GTX680 msi

все анлогично на убунте. На топовом железе лаги и тормаза на максимальных настройках...

He said that it's all the same on Ubuntu. And he has low fps on high performance computer.

Is it really as sad as people describe? Not a big fan of RTS genre but thinking of purchasing this one.
