Unable to beat mlada boleslav mission - please help

Hi,

I really love Wargeme European Escalation but the mission mlada boleslav drives me crazy. Is it only me or is this mission really so hard or nearly unbeatable ?

I took the time and also watched few videos on youtube but am still unable to beat this one.
Is there a way how to ´cheat´in this mission or cold somebody give me his saved game state after mlada bolesav ?

The key to this mission is to retrieve suitable units from the mission before. If you have got out of evacuation with only a couple of T-55's this mission will be impossible. However if you got your T-80's and Mi24V's out it will be much easier. Basicaly take it slow (other than the clear the town in 15min requirement - use recon and helo's not tanks) and look after your units. This mission only really gets hard it you try for all of the supplementary objectives at the same time. It's possible but I've only JUST achieved it...

Allright..so I have to replay evacuation and save as many T80s and Mi24Vs as possible.
Or is it not possible to get savegame state from other user and just copy + paste it into my folder with save game state ?

I don't know about the savegames, but you need to complete evacuation with sufficient forces. Large numbers of T80s and high end gunship choppers are not necessary, but you need to have enough stuff. I had a lot of trouble with this mission, and the guides and youtube playthroughs seem so old that the balance might have changed after those.

I did not get all of the stars from this one, but finally won it, without replaying the evacuation. But it was a close call. I just looked at the mission start screen:

I had saved 5 T-80s. 7 T-64s, 7 SPAAG, 1 Kub, 10 BMP motostrelki, a few AT and AA infantry, 8 or so attack choppers, most of them the worse models, only 1 good one, 7 VDVs, some recons, one CV, some trucks, some artillery.

That was eventually enough, after several tries.

Here is solution how you can get that file

Your campaign progress, command stars, decks etc. are saved in "profile.wargame" and "profile_localpart.wargame" (to be found here: Steam/userdata/<your profile ID - long row of numbers>/58610/remote.

Mmm... sorry. Feels unsafe to share online profiles. Also, I might have had to replay the evacuation again, after all. Not so sure anymore, time has passed.

But, did you know that you can save the missions in the middle? I.e. you could fight through this one unfairly, saving when things go well, and if you lose an encounter, restore and try again, knowing where the enemy is. At least I remember that worked on many missions. Maybe it does not work in all of them.
