Better that hearthstone that you need to *win 30* games to get a card pack if you don't rely on quests.
Anyway, note that hard removal are rarer that most other card games and usally expansive, so minions can actually survive a few turns unlike it being removed before your next turn so minions with special effects are much more viable in this game.
You can aslo protect minions with your hero, your hero is good tank/blocker and can be good at clearing early minions. talking 5-8 damage is better that losing a vital minion that have a good effect, unless of course your life is aleardy too low. This should help you gain the high ground with decent early drop to back you up once your life starts to get lower...using the combat medic is aslo helpfull(if not a must) for that push.
Be sure to go in the options to enable some options like showing the enemy range, it's very helpfull to help stay out of range of stronger minions and not take damage for nothing.
Clicking on an enemy aslo shows the attack range.
Watch out for blue homever...they usally have alot of annoying ways to kill your minions, even if your out of range.
Some tip about deck bulding.
If you often lack minions in your starting hand, add more early drops.
If you have the advantage, but often lose it by turn 4-6, you need more medium cost minions to help keep your advantage mid game.
If you lack power later in the game (Ether you run our of cards or you can't seems to draw that big minion.) Adding draw minions/spells will help while adding bigger minions will help have power in the end game.
Aslo...you need to pick a plan and build your deck around it(Agressive? Defensive? what is my game enders?) then build your deck with cards that will help your plan goal.
You aslo need to figure out your enemy goal, and try to prevent it.
No matter how you build your deck, it will always have a weak point somewhere, or lose to bad draws.
Im not a pro myself homever. (I did play lot's of tatics rpgs so that probably helps.)
Im sure someone esle can give better tips that i can.
Play against the IA :D
With Yellow you are most likely to build a rush deck and just go all in, but Purple army is supposed to counter Yellow so it's a hard matcheup for you, an archer with splash can do the trick but good luck putting one on the field.
In case you don't follow our dev updates, Yellow is undergoing an overhaul as we try and make its gameplay more unique, fun, and strategically interesting. If you main yellow, then expect to see some amount of change each week while we try out new things. Please bear with us as that will cause yellow's strength to fluxuate until we settle on some content that we are happy with.
