I have the same arcade stick but mine works, the ps4 controller however is inverted so my guess is your arcade stick is ps3/ps4/pc instead of the 360/xb1/pc version(which is the one i have), i hope they add proper support for it too.

ah oke there are so many different Hori V sticks (kai, hayabusa, full cabinet versions pff too many :D: ) but this is the one i have
http://stores.horiusa.com/real-arcade-pro-v-kai-for-xbox-one-xbox-360/
has worked with any title i've tried it on,
swapped the hori stick for a ls-32, but sucks yours is inverted :steamsad:
they should be able to fix it relatively easy though that is if they are willing to.

I've got the same stick with the same issue.

Just confirming that it's not on your end..

Still inverted.

Joy2key doesn't work. Just makes the game recognize both an up and down input at the same time.

Have you tried using controller configuration support in Steam Big Picture (Settings > Controller Settings)? If its XInput you should be able to use "Xbox Configuration Support", if not you can use "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support". Then you should be able to remap controls using the in-game big picture overlay in any game to force it to be what you want.
Doesnt change anything. Still inverted.

get joy to key free and it takes seconds to manage a controller in a game, I use a LionCast arcade controller and that works fine .. .. :-)

and also try in Big Picture ...I have to do that sometimes with my rock candy 360 xbox controller....
Like I said, I tried joy2key already and it still inverts the controls with my stick.

etc....

I use this one :

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lioncast-Arcade-Fighting-Stick-Black/dp/B004L3VU8S

It should work ...sounds strange it doesent... did u use other usb ports for it ..dont use a 3.0 ,,use 2.0.. etc
up is mapped to up
down is mapped to down
usb 2.0

Its still inverted in game. This is the only game I'm having problems with.

Its still inverted in game. This is the only game I'm having problems with.

Map with joytokey button in there as stick up= arrow up ,down=arrow down ,left=arrowleft right arrow=right .

map also Z X and C ... ( So when u press a button on you arcade controller in joytokey it activates,If wanna use that button to shoot with mark it with Z X or C whatever .. make sure in Options next to Joystik 1 and 2 is set to Show all axes (8 way + POV x 4).

map a esc button also ... I just did that and it works. remember SAVE .

make sure in your windows system settings managements etc in control panel that you can see you "xbox" controller on the list ( USB Joystick it says on mine when plugged in my LionCast ) Go and Calibrate it and see if it detects reverse there also !! .... otherwise add me as friend and stream it and I try help ..... i cant believe its reversed and theres no way out of this ...sounds really strange ..you must have done something wrong somewere... a lioncast is a 30euro arcade controller only and it works perfectly the one I use also for this game ...:-)

:-)
The point that I think you're missing is that they keep saying it doesn't work. Your LionCast controller is D-Input. A 360 Hori stick would be X-Input. I had a similar problem with my MadCatz Fightstick Pro (360).
The problem is you would have to disable the X-Input coming from the device in order to get the controller to stop being recognized. Only then can you actually change it.
I don't have time at the moment, but later on I want to try using the Steam Controller mode for X-Input devices because I think it intercepts the device signal and replaces it with simulated X-Input. I'll report back with how that goes.

The Steam Controller configuration should work. It fixed mine. Try this:
-Open up Steam's Big Picture Mode
-Go to settings (Gear icon at the top of the screen)
-Go to controller settings
-Activate XBOX Configuration Support
-Unplug your controller and plug it back in
-Start the game
Steam should then pass your controller's X-Input as virtual input from a generic X-Input profile. I tested my fightstick with and without this setting twice. It is inverted without the setting. With the setting on, it is no longer inverted. Give it a shot.

Well if the controls are consistently inverted, try going into the steam controller setting for the game and invert your up and down.

I give up. Hopefully this gets patched, but I don't have my hopes up high considering there's abrely anytt dev communication.

Huh, I thought I had replied to this. I've been here daily answering threads since launch, aside from a few days where I was gone dealing with a death in the family. This was submitted to Natsume-Atari the day you made the thread and the updated information passed along today. The game was tested with some arcade sticks, but as there's quite a large number and as I am unsure whether Natsume-Atari has this specific one to test with, we cannot guarantee every single one will be compatible.
