Great Sunflowers

In case anyone is interested, I ran a small test because I was having difficulty getting sunflowers to mutate to great sunflowers and great flower information seems kind of sparse. So I planted 9 sunflowers in summer in each soil type (grassy, mixed, swamp, dry) then fertilized them every day with regular fertilizer (I don't have access to any other non-crop specific fertilizer yet). When I harvested them the only soil that gave me any great sunflowers was the mixed. I am not saying the other soils won't give them if you plant sunflowers in greater numbers but since all I wanted was an entry in my encyclopedia getting 5 out of 9 works for me.
