Fishing Rod
How can I catch a fish? Playing on laptop with no mouse. Can't actually real in the fish! Completely stuck. Please help

Press the action bottom. I think is "X" by default, you can modified if you want. Just go on option on the menu. 😉

No that didn't work. Assigned X and when pressed fish just dropped. Pressed other buttons an nothing worked.

you known that you must press repetitively the botton right?
you can't press just once.
here works fine for me.

Pressing repeatedly doesn't work either, as the rod just disappears. I have no mouse or c ontroller apart from Laptop pad. Something should work surely. I have assigned A or X as action button, the minute I touch it rod not there and fish not caught. Any ideas anyone

You have to wait until you see an exclamation point "!" pop up. The fish will nibble 4-6 times before biting hard. The ! appears and you rapidly click on the action button. If you jump the gun your rod will just pull out empty
