I have the peir and fished there a lot all day from 12ish to 8ish (an reloaded a save at 12 and re-did it over and over) on a few different days an in the rain with reguler and good bait and the best rod but.. All I caught was mosquitofish, Sardines, an a handful of rainbow trout (and bullheads after like 4pm).

I am sure it is there but it's being one of those things I guess. I might just hold off and try it in winter. Might have better luck then.

At lest it will eventually be handed to me from a request even if the game doesn't wanna let me catch it.

I caught most of my olive flounder at the beach (with goodbait) . Fishing during early morning :D

Olive Flounder --- Beach --- Morning/Evening ---Fall/Winter

So not in the day time.
