(Small) Suggestions for upcoming patches!
Please feel free to remove this topic if it's in the wrong place. I didn't think this would fit as a review since it's more feedback-y

- Doc will let you buy house upgrades you already have. It takes your materials/money, it even plays the cutscene, just to give you the house you currently have. It'd be great for previously purchased house upgrades to become unavailable in Doc's shop menu.

- Feeding. My poor donkey continuously gets blocked by other animals when trying to eat. Sometimes it takes 3 hours before it's fed, and it really throws off the flow of gameplay to have to stand outside and wait for time to pass. Perhaps consumption of food can be done overnight, rather than during the day?

- Is it impossible to fish in ocean water (when not on the restored pier)? If so, maybe make it so the fishing cursor doesn't show up when facing that water, or put it in a book.

- Can we have rainy/snowy day music please? It's just so quiet :(

- Gareth giving trivia tips you already know when you're trying to get the weather forecast: maybe leave the trivia up to the bookshelf. I really don't need a wizard to tell me I won't need to water my crops when it rains, haha.

- I LOVE that the fertilizer yields have gone up compared to previous games. I'd like the animal feed yield to be a little bit higher too - it just doesn't seem balanced right now. Maybe a 1 to 5 ratio of meal to feed?

- In addition, recipe ingredients are quite...insane, honestly. 5 tomatoes and hot pepper and spices for 1 unit of tomato juice? It's not reflected in the sales price of that juice either. Maybe recipes could be a liiiiittle bit cheaper, so that cooking food for stamina becomes more appealing.

- Stone spawns a bit too much on your farm, and it's a bit hard to keep up with all the weeds/tree sprouts, especially if you use multiple fields. I just want to have a nice, tidy farm :D

- (this isn't a suggestion but a question: can we ask sprites for help once their friendship goes up, or are they just NPCs in this game? it would be lovely to have some extra hands, especially with the multiple fields we can use. it's a lot of ground to cover!)

I disagree with the suggestion to add music during storms. I think it was a great choice that adds to the mood.

Those are some good suggestions.

I actually came in here to say the exact dame thing about the rain. The rain sounds are nice for emresion. I think the SNES game was also this way... at least from what I remember...

Also are weeds used for anything? If not remove them from the game, they're too annoying to keep cutting, same with the rocks. We have enough rocks in the mines and we can choose to replay the early levels if we need more rocks.

Also I would like the option to map... the... map... lol, to a specific button. The map and the menu is what I use the most so it would be nice not having to go to a menu to get the map.

Oh dear Goddess yes about the rocks and weeds! There are fields not attached to the farm we can collect rocks, let them respawn there instead of on the main farm area.

Also agreed on the map key... every game I play has map bound to 'M' I habitually hit that key too, only to remember it isn't there.

The animal lady needing animal feed all the time is a tad odd? Since that's where you can buy feed...I swear I'm buying the feed I gave the woman.

The recipe issue is another thing I'd agree on, a lot of them aren't worth making when I can sell the raw ingredients for more and use the hot spring or bread alone for energy.

Either that or give the recipes some added bonus. I don't want the cooking aspect to become useless. Maybe have unlimited stamina for a short time or have it auto refill if it hits 0. Or slow the ammount of stamina you use per action.
