Shipping Bin

What exactly is the advantage to using the shipping bin? In other harvest moon games I'm pretty sure the shipping bin gave more money than selling to store owners, but I don't see that in this game. Carol buys flowers for more, and I think Sam said something about giving a discount on seeds if you sell him crops. And if you sell to a store owner you get your money instantly. So what's the point of the shipping bin if it doesn't sell your stuff for more? Is it just for selling stuff on Sundays?

Some people like selling to vendors; some people like the shipping bin. If you're willing to micro-manage your sales, you're rewarded with more gold for your efforts. If you want to just chuck everything into the shipping bin and not mess with who should get what, that's fine too. We liked the idea of giving people the choice and seeing where people ended up going with it.

I have found no point to the shipping bin. I wish I could chop it down for wood. It would then at least serve a function.

I think selling it in anyway counts in this one for unlocking crops.

The only thing shipping does specificlly is add to the record for how much money worth of stuff you shiped.. Which if you wanna raise it, just ship gems since its no loss in value and raises it pretty fast.

I got 10 durum wheat seeds from a reques and grew them. After I sold them directly to Sam they were unlocked. So it definitely does.

Shipping bin only useful if u need to sell something when the shops are closed (Sunday or nightime).. other than that it is useless bin..
