How high does your sheeps relationship have to be to get great wool?

It's the last thing I need for the quest and my only sheep is at about 4 and a half notes...no great wool yet.

that's weird i got great wool with only 2 note, try using the save/load trick when shearing them

2 notes.. But it becomes more common the higher your notes go. (2 notes is the earliest I've seen a great product - I got my great wool at 3 though).

If your desprate - just save the night before the wool is done.. and keep resetting the day till he gives it to you... Very save scummy but.. A tactic..

Maybe better foods increase the odds.. I am not entirely sure what better foods do.

I'll give the save scumming option a go, since I've been feeding the barn animals great feed or delicious feed when I can an nada, heck even the cow's been giving me great milk...

In theory, can be real lucky and get it as the first shear ever ... though it can also take a loooooong time. Remember to graze your animals. (WHich i dont :P )

Its all really random tbh, I been trying to get Great fo mr an upgrade but i havent been lucky so far

All animals have a change of giving a better quality product than normal; if their relationship is higher, the chance of producing a great (or more) is improved but not guaranteed. Remember to care for them daily.

I loved my donkey too hard and now he wont give me regular donkey fur that I need for a request. >.< I did do a save scum, and the fur stayed ultimate quality, so I did it again and this time waited a day to shear him. it went down to great quality, so i *think* you can decrease quality if you leave it on for a few days.

UPDATE: Got the wool ;7; now to get the pink sheep to like me enough to get woll for the bigger house ;7;

any heart will get you great products. I found if I give my sheep delicious feed then harvest the wool, its usually great cotton wool. they produce so slow i started saving just before I sheared and if it wasnt the quality i needed, i loaded the game back to the save and waited until the following day to shear.
