Does fertilizer cause mutations consistently?
How does it work?

Certain crops need different kinds of fertilizer to cause mutations and some crops don't require fertilizer at all to mutate. Sometimes planting it in different soils or seasons can make it mutate. I will say though if you use a special type of fertilzer, for an example using celery fertilizer on your celery, you only need to use that type of fertilizer ONCE for its mutation. But I usually find if the thought bubble of your crop is golden that particular crop has a higher chance of mutating or it will be better quality then say one that is white. I hope that helps a little, but maybe someone else will have better information then I do.
