you need 2 great cotton candy wool and 2 great silky fur. i have the wool. but all my silky fur is ultimate or higher and she still asks for the materials. do i need great fur? or just wait it out?

I'm not at that specifc quest, but from what I can tell you from experience with the system, you just need 2 fur of a quality that is great or higher. Example:

2 ultimate fur will work
1 supreme and 1 ultimate will not

Even in some of Naomi quests I've been able to turn them in with one requested item of better quality

Example: I completed naomi's scoop two by bringing her regular cheese and ultimate butter.

Yeah I have had that same experience. That is why I am so confused when she asks for those materials when they are in my bags. I think it is something you just have to wait out. Not sure

If you can complete a few of Gabriels requests- one of them he gave me 2 great silky donkey fur as a reward, thats what I used for mine.

The only other thing I could think of is maybe it's the wrong fur type? The donkey does have an alternate variant upon game completion. I don't know what each fur is called though.

Its definitely the silky fur. I didn't have any other fur types in my bag when i completed the scene.
You have the ore too, right?

Yeah I have the ore. So you just turned them into her? It wasnt a cutscene?

I walked into gus when she was there and it triggered the cutscene, when I had all the ingredients in my bag

My husband did this one yesterday. He had to have the exact grade of silky fur, the great kind, for it to work. Better did not so he had to wait longer.
