My recipe needed cheese to make certain item but I do not have milk because now my cows gives me greater milk instead.So what should I do? Sell of my cows and buy new ones so I can get milk again once they mature?

I suppose you could try to make great cheese, then the great version of the recipie, which you can then turn in for the quest reward in it's higher quality state (or whatever you plan to use it for).

True! It costs 2500, which could be quite costly if you needed a lot of cheese, but much more friendly than selling all your cows so they produce regular milk again :)

But to be back on topic, there is no need to sell your cows for lowered quality milk. Most recipies are designed to also use the higher quality goods and in a pinch, you can buy normal cheese. You can also use higher quality recipes for turning in requests (in my experience).

Nope. I meant now I need milk but my cows are giving me great milk. I can't make gratin. I don't think they sell milk =(

It's a quest from Nova. She is asking for gratin. I can't use great milk.

If you make the Great Gratin, Nova will accept that too. The game will pop up a message saying you have a higher quality item than the one the quest needs, and are you okay with using it instead. So you just say yes if you are. If you don't want to do that, there is still a chance your cows can produce regular milk even at higher affection. Save before you milk and reload if you don't get the lowest quality milk.
