Gus and the mythical till/water tool

Gus mentioned to my character a while back that he had once heard of a legendary tool that could till a large plot and water it at the same time. Has anyone nailed down anything tangible about this claim? What steps do you need to take to unlock it if so?

Nope.. But now that hearts are confrimed to come from the god/goddess/gorgan requests, We know fertilizer, feed, and bait also unlock through requests.. Perhaps if you do a lot of Gus's requests he unlocks them down the line - if there is a bigger tool.

Im leaning towards just gossip because you can't water until you plant seeds, and watering when tilling in the mines would be a pain in the butt imo

I have completed a TON of his requests and still nothing.

But hey this game keeps suprising me so.... maybe?

I have gus 1-8, as well as spring 1/2, summer 1/2, and fall 1 done. i doubt it will unlock
