Mining makes money irrelevant as you will always be able to make ~50k/day in the mines in a span of 4-6 in game hours. And that’s without tool upgrades.
Go to Gus to refine the ores and sell them to Sam/shipping box. No one buys them for above regular price, but starting jewels start in the 900s and get up to 3000 per jewel at top tier. You can pull plenty of 1-2 k jewels (onyx-moonstone) before you upgrade the hammer. The further down you go and the more you upgrade the hammer, the more money you get. You’re looking at 3k gems becoming common and abundant when you get to the bottom.
