Also If you plant seeds in the wrong season (like fall seeds in spring) and the season changes they will all die. But if they can grow in the season it changes to they won't. Useful to know ahead of time..
You can also use fertilizer (buy it from Carol for 50G) and fertilize them (i do daily) and they will grow outside of season
Yes they will grow outside the season if you fertailize them, but even fertalizing them the night before, they all died when the season switched for me (going to a season they don't grow in). So I think its how it works for season changes.
About crops out of season, I just went from spring to summer and while many of my spring crops died, only one of my pink roses did. So I guess it's not a 100% thing.
