GMS2: Unable to login - No network connection

Hello...
After the update, GMS2 Desktop can not log in anymore.
Message: "Unable to login - No network connection".

GMS2 Web logs in without problems.

Does anyone have the same problem or a solution?

I'm having the same issue. Cannot log in to either my laptop or my desktop via Steam after the latest updates. I used to be able to run it just fine. I get the same message.

I restart both Computers after the new Update for the Web Version.
After this i restart Steam and the GMS2 Web Version.
Then i install the new Runtime (Top right) with dobbleclick.
Thats all.
Both Programms (GM2 Web/Desktop) are now on both Machines (Laptop/Desktop) working.

How do you install a new runtime? top right of where?

Start GM2 Web and look top right. There is the Message for the new runtime.

i cant login after i reinstalled it everytime i put in my password it seays error this account is linked to another yoyo account its been like this for olmost a year and they will not help me

Just got this message for the first time. Followed the advice on setting Steam to online. Tried installing and reinstalling multiple times. This is horrible. Doing a search also revealed YoYo demands you have an Internet connection. Why demand something you can't even let people log into? UPDATE: The login process started working again. This pretty much confirms it has nothing to do with network access but YoYos own servers not responding when the software asks. They should REALLY change this error message.
