GM drag and drop
How powerful is d&d in gm2?
Im an artist and have no interest in coding whatsoever but i do want to at least built a prototype of the game before bringing on someone to help me code.
Things im interested in basic inventory, basic quests, basic crafting, can these be done with drag and drop?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it is be possible. DnD in GM2 is very powerful but I think it would take much longer than actually learn and write it in code

I truly can't imagine the spaghetti in DnD

Its possible but you should use GML. Its easy to elarn and for a bit complexer systems like inventories the code has much better overview then the big graphically blocks of DnD. if you don't know both yet the time to learn how it works is in gml only a little bit lonegr then the D&D system.

I dont have a computer background, and honestly i wouldnt know where to begin learning gml, youtube tutorials are not a good place and will only confuse me even more

Game maker has a learn section with good beginner tutorials which you load in gms2 directly and you have then in the engine an description what to do.
