Learning GML
Hi!

I am new to coding/GML and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions of the best way to go about learning GML. (Keep In Mind, I have no real experience in coding, besides HTML)

Thanks for your help in advance! :beatmeat:

I learned a lot by watching videos on YouTube - specifically Shaun Spaulding's videos.
I also recommend Shaun. He will help you learn the basics, from there look for other tutorials to help you expand your knowledge.

The software has only been out for a few months, so we have no way of knowing.

If you're willing to fork out 15$ Benjamin Anderson has one of the best courses on Udemy when it comes to learning GML. He goes through creating an entire platform game. Also his youtube is here: https://www.youtube.com/user/uheartbeast/videos

Shaun Spalding is also a good teacher. Some of his twitch streams are pretty good too. Highly recommend both of them.

I can recommend Benjamin , I finished his course some days ago in GMS 2; there some things you might have to change in the coding cause there some codes that are diferent from GMS 1.4 but it only happened 4 times and it was just some small changes + its good for learning how to fix bugs and troubleshooting
