All saves just dissapiar after i restart the game, so i cannot play at all what is wrong? I have Windows 8 and i am running it on Mac Book Air thrue a boot camp.

I have 2 Steam users account on the same computer and both of them belong to me and i am switching bewen them depending what game i want to play, can it be a bug because of that?

I just reinstalled the game and did not help either...

Switching user accounts shouldn't matter. You can start the game directly without having the Steam client running.

If you went to the trouble of re-installing, you should have installed the Developer's Cut version (it is essentially DKS with an optional Developer Mode cheat window), or at least installed to a folder outside the Program Files path (Windows permissions can sometimes cause problems with programs installed there).

I also replied to your topic in the Larian forum[www.larian.com].

Unless you were only using quicksaves and autosaves, you should be able to start a new game without effecting your existing saves at all.

Did you switch user accounts, or change any Windows settings, etc?

In XP the saves should be in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\ %username% \Local Settings\Application Data\Divinity 2\Savegames

or in Vista / Win 7

C:\Users\ %username% \AppData\Local\Divinity 2\Savegames

You may need to set Windows Explorer to show hidden files and folders (XP, Vista[www.bleepingcomputer.com], Win 7[www.ghacks.net]).
