General unlock conditions: complete the main objective to get the star & reward. That is all. Order doesn't count, Score and Bonus Objectives don't count. Not all missions grant an unlock: a "-" means there's no reward for completing this mission.

That's a super helpful list, thanks for your effort. And interesting, I just finished the tablelands but was 99% sure I had the recurve bow way earlier. Maybe I'm confused because I stopped playing for a while.
I'm also pretty sure the side-by-side doublebarrel came from somewhere in the Mountain Lake region because I switched from the over-under midlevel to compare them, but now I don't want to trust my brain.

Well I can only trust my notes. I've tested the first two regions extensively using multiple savegames so I'm almost certain that each mission has its reward set in stone. On the other hand it sure seemed weird to have to progress so far to get my first bow...

Double Barrel on Mountain Lake makes a lot of sense though. I never saw the splash screen, only noticed that I had it after getting the SX4. 4 missions with no unlock seems fishy anyway so it must've been from one of those, thanks for the confirmation !

Any tip on what gun should i use for elk?... nothing i unloked so far seems to work.

You need a weapon with the red "bear" icon (elk is massive, "deer" class weapons are not appropriate). If you complete all missions in order, the .270 and Tranquilizer Rifle should be the first "bear" weapons you'll get. Or you could purchase the DLC.

I was trying to finish the first map with all the misions first but i guess that's not the order developers had in mind... i guess i try to make all misions posible until i get one.

Quick update, I used your list to speedrun through a new savegame to test the Tablelands, and you were right. The Recurve was a reward from the third mission there. Totally misremembered that one.
I also checked for the side-by-side 12 Gauge Double Barrel, and I got it from Mountain Lake #6, "Is It A Bird?".
And finally, The Highlands 1, "Quite The Fallowing", unlocked the Target Crosshair (2.4x) for me, which was missing from your notes. That's all for now. Thanks again, your list rocks!
