I'm looking for a detective game. Solve the mystery. Is this good or annoying?

Are these video footage type games better then Unreal engine mystery games?

unsure of what you're referring to, but lets say that this FMV is pretty linear, you won't really be "solving" much as the story unfolds pretty much on its own, there's only a few choices that will make you trigger (or not) different scenes, but overall its incredibly linear

if you're looking for detective stuff i don't think this fits the bill at all

Okay thanks. You did answer my question. I'm looking for detective game where you solve a mystery. I dont want to just flip thru different branches of scenes to a linear conclusion each time.
